her name was missy

and she was chubby

so the kids didn't think that she was cool

and she got teased

and she was taunted

everyday at school

she had to hold out

until summer

when her family would move

and then one day

out on the play ground

she thought she had something to prove

you should have played with me

when i was here

because i was never happy

and nobody ever did care

now i will never again be

here

and you can't hurt me

when i'm gone

and you'll be sorry

for all the things you've done

but i will still be

gone



they called her debby

and she was nearing fourty

sick and tired of the way she was treated

by her live in boyfriend

a real man's man

and she was sure that he had cheated

he would put her down

and he called her names

she swore to herself she wouldn't take it anymore

and she would tell him

face to face

as soon as he walked through the door

you should have held me

when i was here

because i was lonely

and you never did care

now i will never again be

here

and you can't hurt me

and there was dennis

he was fourteen

and he was really a good kid

but his druken mother

always found something wrong

with everything he did

she would slap him

and she would shove him

he always had a bloody nose or a blackened eye

so as he was leaving

he stuck a note to the refridgerator

and scribbled his goodbye

yes he misses

his two young kids

but he hates his ex wife

his job is pointless

he takes comfort in

knowing the end is soon to come

as he stares down the barrel of his gun
