Tension abounds as you board the plane

The drives and fun times we had
The walks along Lake District
Picnics at The Plassey, Chirk Castle and London Eye
The misty hills, and the Horse Shoe pass
The aroma of tea in Ponderosa Café
I cherish those moments mum
As I cherish your words of wisdom
And the sound of your laughter
With your grand children as they played
It will be no more for some time to come
I will miss all that and the way I laid in your lap
Relaxed and peaceful, just been born
And all I want mum is for you to board the plane
With a lighter mind, because your heart
