I feel depressed when I break my nails

I hate it when I have no stylish outfits for Saturday nights

I get so frustrated when my hair gets frizzy

I always want money to buy mascara and eyeliner

Bathing suit, and a box of buff powder

I get bothered to wait at the dentist office

Or at the salon to fix my bushy eyebrows

I hate driving during rush hour

I feel miserable when I can’t pay my car insurance check

I feel depressed when I fail a test

I get irritated when I have papers due  

I get down in the dumps when I remember my university loans



Who said I don’t have to shop every week?

And bye every outfit and matching shoes

Who said I don’t have to see movies every week?

And eat Chinese rice along with Mexican Sauce

Italian spaghetti and French fries

I can’t forget Lebanese Hommus and Tabouli  

I feel depressed if I don’t drive up North

Or go cruising all summer long

I have to watch every soccer match



I have to hold a modern mobile

And drive the most recent car

It has to be polished and red

With black leather

And shiny silver rims



What else I have to care about?

My parents?

Of course I do

My kids?

They crown my list

My work?

It takes most of my concern
