Sitting there
Playing in the sand
She sings softly
Songs of her favorite band
It is ludicrous
It is so unreal
Her words are just that
So surreal
People stare
And think she is crazy
But her imagination
Always amazed me
Her outfits never dull
The bright colors
And unique flare
Brought many followers
Her eyes look so deep
And full of interest
They look at the sea
With glimmers of water mist
Yet this little child
Cares of nothing less than life
It makes no difference to her
Is she is single or to be made a wife
She seems so peaceful
Free with innocence
She’s free from guilt
In this world of decadence
She grows up more
A teenager now
New challenges await her
Her life will change somehow
But nothing gets to her
She has on this shield
It protects her from everything
That is so real
But even though
She is not older
She sits in the sand
Finding ways of no other
