It’s obvious
She isn’t wanted
By family at home
Everybody makes fun
And calls her names
She tries to do things
As they all do
But it is never the same
She hates the way
She is never accepted
Never popular
It is not fair to her
She did nothing wrong
It is almost like
The world is against her
Never wanting her around
Ignoring her existence
If we all come in
As equals
They wonder why she is
Treated so differently
What makes her
Part of the outside crowd?
Part of the unwelcome
It is so sad
It is especially obvious
She is hurt by these actions
She doesn’t want to change
She wants to be part of the group
Other than that
She cares about nothing
Because she was treated that way
But she is soon realizing
That she isn’t meant
To be with them
For she has her own life
