I carry my possessions with me
To the end of my road
I take one final look back
At everything I’m leaving behind
I can’t stay here anymore
I can’t be near you anymore
Being in the same town kills me
Thinking your name is enough to murder my heart
Over and over again
I can’t stand the sight of you
Because it always brings tears to my eyes
I know I can never move and so
I never want to see you move on
Picturing you with another
Crushes my heart in an instant
How can I be expected to let you go
When I can’t let myself go
The image of your handsome face
Still remains deep within my heart
No matter who else comes along
I feel they will only be second to you
I must leave before this feeling grows more strong
Though I can’t imagine how it could
Moving on will be the best thing
But the hardest thing
And most nearly impossible
If I can even do it at all
