Body Harvest

A piercing light streaked across high,

left a streak of gray along the sky.

Then in the next blink before me it hovered,

then out came a piercing voice that sputtered:

I see this land with its greens lakes,

I see this land with its black state,

but the land beneath the sea is stilled,

and your ground is undug and not tilled.

I look to your heavens though they have different dots,

I am certain that you pray to our same God, Detot.

Now, not be alarmed but pray tell your guise,

be much not similar but to keep your wit my disguise

is similar to that of you but my eyes are kept.

Then came a release of pressure and out he stepped.

Hollywood could not have fathomed this to come;

he like us but eyes had three this was not troublesome.

For when we walked his disguise made it look like a joke

but underneath he hid his true self under the cloak.

Soon he opened his mouth and said these syllables:

I come to give you a warning, I love a good battle.

When I look to your land it brings me to infancy,

before our wars destroyed our land before our seas

were drained for more battles, more land to conquer

we did not rely on the staple of your life, water.

Water wasn't used in our society but for electric, humans

so before the end leave a few oh, and also the Heavens.
