Last night I looked up,

and you were there.

Looking just as you did,

long years ago.

And with that one look,

I knew I loved you still.

I say your name aloud,

and you looked away,

I said I has missed you,

all these years,

I said that I loved you,

now still,

after all the years,

since the day you went away.

That day long ago,

 you went away from me,

  without a word,

   no goodbye.

I awoke this morning,

 what was your name,

  dreams fade away.

        I love you still.
