Individuality

Individuality, it’s…it’s haunting.

How it can be so wonderful,

And so dangerous at the same time.

How you can stand out in a crowd,

And be loud,

And be yourself.

But at the same time be a target.

For somebody else to destroy.

They don’t need a reason.

They don’t need a purpose.

Because their biggest fear is fear itself.

The fear of blending in.

The fear of NOT standing out.

Then why bother YOU?

Because you’re standing out.

And if you’re standing out,

And he’s standing out,

Then he’s not original.

He’s just a copy of you.

But it’s not going to bring you down.

But do you know why?

Just because someone treats you like a loser,

Doesn’t mean you are.

When he’s home he’s beaten,

When he’s away he’s forgotten.

So where does he go to be noticed?

YOU.
