I was trying to convince Laura and Joe to go with me to a mysterious trip where I recently went on vacation, at the beginning Laura and Joe were not convinced because they thought that the stories of the forest were real but I insisted to much that they decided to go and experience the trip. I was the one that guided the group  and I decided to leave in the morning with my friends Joe and Laura. I had gone to the forest a few years ago with my cousin to experience the forest and found it was a really pleasant vacation.

On the way to the forest my friends were so happy talking about their experiences in some trips. I met Joe and Laura since we were kids because they lived in the same neighborhood and they went to the same school as me.

It was already 4pm on their way into the forest and we decided to stop at a supply store to buy some food for the road, Joe told Laura to buy batteries for the flashlights and Laura with a smile turns around and goes inside the store to buy the things they asked for, after 15 minutes she returns with a black bag with the items they asked for, then I started refueling the truck  to keep going into the forest. On the way I told my friends that I had heard a few days ago that a two men had disappeared in that forest, my friends were surprised to hear this scary story.

Three hours later we had reached the forest, everyone gasped to see that great landscape that was around them, I started to get all the things from the trunk off the car, Joe and Laura decided to start putting together the camp site and I stayed behind to finish unpacking.

The night fell and it was dark, Joe started cooking some beans and tortillas for dinner. It wasn't a lot but it was good enough for one night. After dinner we all talked about the trip and how we were all enjoying it.

Laura thought we heard something behind some bushes. She suspected it was only just a wild animal. I suddenly heard a scream, Joe rapidly told Laura to give him the flashlight but Laura had remembered she didn't buy any batteries for it. We were all scared, we only had the fire to see. Joe and me started to yell and see if everything was okay.

I wanted to make a plan to see where the scream had come from. I didn't want to separate with the group but it was the only way to find out what had happened. I didn't want Laura to be alone so I told her she should go with Joe. I told everyone to come back in exactly one hour.

Thirty minutes into the search I heard a cry I immediately thought it was Laura and ran to look for her, I tripped and while I was getting up I saw a girl hanged from a tree, with instant fear I yelled at the top of my lungs and my friends came quickly. When they arrived to the site I pointed where I saw the hanged girl but she wasn't there. They thought it was a harsh joke.

Then Joe helped me return to the campsite since I had injured my foot when I tripped. I was really freaked out and we agreed we should return to the city.  Suddenly I realized I couldn't find the keys of the car anywhere. I realized maybe I had lost them when I tripped.

Everyone started to panic and we didn't know what to do. I knew I had probably left the keys near the tree, but I couldn't walk and didn't want to leave Laura alone so I told Joe if he could go for them. He went out into the forest to look for the keys, Ten minutes later we heard a scream and went looking for Joe. When we arrived we saw Joe hanged from the same tree. Laura ran for her life and went into the forest. I lost Laura out of my sight and couldn't find her. I looked down the tree and there were the keys, I took them and tried to close my eyes hoping it was all a hallucination, but it was real. I got really scared and ran to the car trying to find Laura. Just miles from the campsite I heard another scream, I knew Laura was hanged and I also knew I was next, so I turned on the car and went out of that forest. I never returned to that forest.  I never saw them again.
