I send a warm hug - life renewing,
I gather him to the length of me.
I transfer my love and my caring
To the person he is glad to be
For he has learned to accept himself
-If only we each could follow that!
He knows all his strengths and his foibles
And regulates his own thermostat.
Oh, the things he gives me are priceless
And I treasure them, close to my heart.
Love, trust and belief - to name a few-
A new lease on life - a bright new start.
He deserves the best life can offer
For his best is what he always gives,
And what he receives, he always shares.
He is a conduit - love's spirit lives!
