Our Love Courses like a River

You move with alacrity and like a breeze
As a Zephyr traverses over mountains and
Like a rapid stream falling under the snow.

And like water changing garments in the
Waterfall pelted lagoons, you sparkle as a
Chimera of the everlasting radiant goddesses.

Your wide liquid eyes are the only light I know,
Reflecting distant constellations and your skin
Throbs like the atmosphere during meteor showers.

Your hips resemble the crescent moon as it wanes
And then waxes with ever increasing curvatures and
Your mouth serves as a cornucopia of delicate delights.

Your too much crimson heart, like the sun with its
Long ardent rays washes over me like fallen rose
Petals and now I know how love courses like a river.

And as the earth records its ages inside its geologic
Strata, our love will continue to live pass those aons.
And the earth itself will continue to feel our glow.

And what of the propensity of streams forcing salmon

To leap upstream enabled by our all too rubrical heart

Pounding in most unrelenting love seeking recognition.

We too seek ascension in ways seemingly unfamiliar,

But guided by hidden polestars we barely see; let us

Stay the course as sister river sets its sight on divinity.

Unbeknownst to the river, water molecules are entangled

With the rhythmic beat of two hearts syncopated in a

Manner only a divine maestro could know. Let us

Surrender to the twists and turns of a river captain who

Knows how water accepts its fate when the Tao is

understood to be the prevailing great divine director ….
