Shattered dreams
Nightmares as reality
A Blade against the skin of me
The shattered mask around me
Falling in to dispair
Im bleeding
A broken mask of a shattered life
People just pass this broken spirit
They all think it will just get better
Stablity of my inner peace is fading
A part of me has given up
Whats the point anymore
Where is the light
Broken and tired
Fed up of keeping up a mask
Its shattered
The real me is emerging
The me people will hate
Pity
Try and help
Only a few have seen past the mask
There is no bright future
Not for me
Forever trying to hold my shattered mask together
Sacrifice is a dark destiny
Across everything no one seems to care
Crying out for a person
Returning to the mask to stop contact
In this bitter world and soul is there a life
From the ashes we are reborn
In my mind i repeat a word
Carried along the waves of a depressive field of lide
Escape from the bonds of life

One word
It has a meaning
In the front of my mind it sits
