Some Words From Comrade Lenin's *Most* Private Advisor; Or, First Discomfort Of The вурдалака

The Czar has not been merely appointed;

but was, by the Orthodox Church, anointed

to reign (clamoring Kerensky and his peers

cannot object---despite political fears

and the cost, in votes, of that admission).

Still, it is the first and  main condition

you must wipe out:  the czar, his pretty son,

his wife and daughters and, definitely,

his sister-in-law, that interfering Nun.

All of them must be slaughtered like auctioned hogs

to the butcher; and, for complete inclusion,

go ahead and take the lives of their dogs.

This must proceed with brutal efficiency:

a sacrifice to avenge your slain brother.

The details are yours to arrange, of course,

perhaps over a refreshing cup of tea

with that woman who bears the face of a horse.

Author's Notes/Comments:

The last line alludes to Lenin's wife, Krupskaya, who must have been one the ugliest women who ever walked this earth.
