Many treat this planet like a place of exile, or a prison with fetters and bars;

but I think it is, instead, a thriving province of that eternal city

for which Abraham devoutly looked.  Its nearer edge is the grandeur of the stars:

its builder and maker is God, and it is founded on courtesy and pity.

The diffficulty I have had in keyboarding this poem, and the errors I have made, lead me to believe that our common Enemy did not want this to be written (perhaps because someone needs to hear or read it).  I offer it to all Christians, especially those who hold the Orthodox Faith.
