I woke a little before dawn, and that still, small voice, said "'Starwatcher'
"was given you so that their playground bullying did not further botch your
"confidence." Christ the Bright and Morning Star, Whose Word I have read
and loved, has bestowed on me the appellation . . . Starward-Led.
In this screen name (and its origin), "Fairy Jerry" found distinctive shelter
from those years' (and their imposed memories') bullying and its vulgar welter.
And, in this gift from Christ, this gladly jubilant Christian identity,
I find the renewed resources of poetry.
