Those who had not yet heard the Gospel were still numb.

And they turned Rome into a cesspool and slum.

Here, the Church with the Gospel will come,

with open proclamation that would never keep mum,

cleansing RomN souls from sin's accumulated scum.

And Death, as the holder of finality,

was tamed, defanged, utterly,

shattered, cast down, trampeled and defeated

when Christ's repair of our lives was, in His Resurrection, completed.
