All that long, soft hair often seems to
tumble from the base of his football helmet,
but now casacades over the shoulders of his
white dinner jacket, worn over a provocative
mesh tee, with new "skinny-style" jeans. And,
defiant of dress codes and rules of admission,
his feet are bare in anticipation of the Homecoming
Dance (on this sultry, late September Saturday
night) to which he will escort his new BoyFriend,
one of the class's bookworms, a nerd, and, until they
began dating, a very unpopular classmate.
