[after joy's poem, "Silence And Martin"]
With malice toward none, with charity for all . . .
thus, our nation's greatest President, Father Abraham,
gave vindictiveness the bum's rush and the victor's exemplary slam
in the words of the Second Inaugural:
following Christ's directive in the Gospel's Holy call.

Author's Notes/Comments:
I am utterly enraged, offended, and shocked by those persons of assumable intelligence who can call---who can dare to call---the present occupant of the White House (I call him "that man" as I will neither voluntarily speak or mentioned his accursed name) the "greatest president" (or some such variation) when the monuments in Washington D.C.; Springfield, Illinois; and Keystone, South Dakota bear silent and lasting testimony (in stone!) otherwise.
