Into the hall, called Praetorium,

they brought You, Lord, so that the

world, through their efforts, should

have the chance to attack, assault,

injure and wreak havoc upon Your pure

body, striving to break Your spirit by

breaking your sinless flesh.  And so doing,

by arrogance deluded, they were pleased to

believe that this was the Will of the

Senate and the People of Rome.
