Find the Waldo

Folder:
May 2010

It's only fair to warn, that I will always be a door away from helping you,
never let you feel down, always raise your happiness for you,
why is it those that always win, simply say they knew,
when losers like me, always say they thought they knew,
well I am through losing, it is my time for a new debut,
let the tables turn, and the winners feel what I'm used to.

On you I bet on the spread, but because of a fear of the past I quickly withdrew,
too bad I might never know, if you were someone I would pursue,
hope these lines don't get you sad, because the last two are quite untrue,
never to me have you stated your feelings, without needing to construe,
I am tired of swimming towards light, time to aim for dark blue,
this wall I will soon break down, the waiting I will breeze through,
run fly swim, push jump hurl, anything as long as it gets me to you,
did you think Waldo I would never find?
well admit it,
did you?
grabbed our novel, began to look it through,
all the empty pages, much like Pick Your Own Adventure Goosebumps its cruel.
