That just happened
You just enjoyed an entire evening with the back street boy
Went back to his place to get high after breaking into tears at Williams
At the very same table where you looked at him like he was dead to you
After he took your phone away to keep you from fighting
After spilling your heart out to him
Telling him how you hid in him those two months so you wouldn’t fall for Matt
After you finally broken down and cried about it in his arms outside in the cold
Snotting on his shoulder
That just happened
You enjoyed an entire evening with the back street boy
Went back to his place to get high
Smiled
Laughed
Had fun
Despite the fact that your heart and soul walked by EVERYTHING
And cried “Matt”
