Your Forever Boy

I was driving along on a sunny day –

As fate would have it, a day like this one –

When I started finding the words to say.

The threshold of my dreams was overrun.

There I was, once again back on the road,

And here I am now, stripped down and shining

Like a jewel in your eye blithely bestowed,

Awaiting our divine intertwining.

Forever seems a bit heavy to hold –

Even now my eyes widen at the thought –

But it can be a blessing, so I’m told.

We could give each other what we’ve long sought.

How I’d love to make all your dreams come true.

Could I have been created just for you?
