The spring's amazing embrace
Or the winter's chill on my face
I need more balance
The calm falling rain
On my window pane
Or the threatening thunder
That leaves us to plunder
Balance please?
The drama, lies, and regret
Or the happiness I can't forget
Balance is a blessing
The dreaded dark side
That takes me for a ride
Or the warmer side of great
That probably has a better fate
Balance is needed here
I choose, I lose
I win, I grin
Is this where the fall begins?
But I can only look forward to up
The water is half full in my cup
The smile to my heart you always were
The unbalance before now just a blur
Thank you for helping me to choose
What I want to gain, and what to lose
If anything you are the reason for me
The one that always lets me see
That the screw ups are there but I don't mind
You have made them all so blind
Thank you for everything you want to be for me
Do you always make me smile? I think we can agree
Truly balanced when you're around
Don't need others making a sound
