You can't stand me
Since I'm so "different"
You hate that I'm
Not just like you
Well you won't have a chance
To change who I am
Not now, not ever
So take me as I am
Or just watch me walk away
I don't understand the people
Who act like this everyday
Is it just a personal thing?
Or do they just want their own way?
You can say what you want
You can do what you please
But you won't ever see me
Down on my knees
Begging you to accept me
So say what you can
It doesn't matter to me
I'd rather be free
Than to be a slave
To your stupid world
That only pleases you
I'm sorry to admit
But it won't ever be true
