I would cast out my anchor,
And hurl my wretched body over this railing.
I would walk on water,
If I thought I could,
Just to be able to close the gap
Between your ship and mine.
But I can't walk on water.
I would just drown.
Would you try to save me
As I pull you down?
And I would do my best swan dive
And plunge into
The deep blue sea.
I would do anything
Just to have you here with me.
But I can't walk on water.
I would just sink.
But it would be
Well worth it,I think.
