no static cling, designer clothes
brighter whites and vibrant colors

more policies and credit cards
to nurture our poor inner child.

High-resolution / surround sound please,
to overwhelm any sense of complicity
as we watch, absorb and finally believe
that buying solutions for the fear that we're fed
will guarantee inundated wallets and beds!
