We seem so far

Yet so close

We would always talk

Now it seems we are distant

Unconnected 

We don't feel the same

As we once did

I feel as if our pain

The pain we caused one another 

Has affected our live

Toward each other 

Why does it have to be this way?

Can't we just be happy and live 

In the moment 

Be happy and content 

With our selves and our

Handsome boys?

Why must we fight

Argue

Accuse

Each other for something we

Don't mean

Why do me feel it's ok to hurt

Each other?

Has it really come down to that?

Why must we lie?

I know I have and you as well

But let's start over 

Start anew 

Forget and move on

Let us be happy again

In each others arms

Let's not let our love fade

But keep it glowing ever so

Brightly
