Caedmon’s Hymn (a contemporary revisiting)

Folder:
Dead Poets

Sing, Maker of all skies,
Your hands spun sun and shadow,
Breathed stars into the endless deep.

Lord of light and longing,
You carved out earth’s green bones,
Set seal on sea and silent stone.

Before Your voice the ages knelt

Time’s tapestry unrolled by Your Word,
Our hearts awoke to praise the Eternal Smith.
