First Tears
when two people cry
for the first time together,
something shifts—
the air thickens,
the silence deepens,
and love is no longer
a word,
but a trembling presence.
tears are not weakness,
they are confession,
they are the body saying

and in that moment

unmasked,
unguarded,
and knows—
this is love,
