She saw beauty before it ever was
Like a secret meant to be heard
Slowly spoken from tear to ear
But a secret still

She bled beauty from her skin
But skin goes so fast
just so far
Like questions of who we are.

Though her words were strong
and seldom sought
Never taught
Never bought


They were given from her mouth
What she saw
What she felt
and what she thought


There were no sounds
Just the warmth of the bed
Seeding misses and kisses
And what she said
