Why These Secrets You Keep?

There were once drapes where I stood
It covered sunshine and wood
From the window's down were glass
Now no longer would time pass

The edges of these walls draped
The britches and skirts you caped
Away from stalkers and friends
Away your lover's heart. Rends

A mind so filled with much doubt
Why must you hide "what's about?"
About you. My world. Yourself
About you who's kept me myself

Out outside. Must I worry?
You? My dear... in such hurry
What actions are deep and vague
What actions does me mind plague

The windows are now all gone
What pressure love had life on

Author's Notes/Comments:

When there are only walls and all it is you see, time stands still. Painfully.
