The Exercist

Exercise, don’t exorcise,

your demons.

Let them pump the iron

and tramp the treadmills

of your mind.

Then, when fit enough

and every vile muscle group

is clearly defined,

put them down.

Let them run their races

through other minds.

Should they return,

as demons often do,

You may know them,

name them,

and greet them,

as old friends.
