I worry about little things,
in regards to us.
I worry about making a mistake,
like annoying you,
appearing weak or childish
not pleasing you,
or that not having enough money
will make you think less of me.

I try my hardest
but sometimes I fail.
That I disappoint you.
That some things I say,
even this group of poems,
will scare you,
and make you go away.
And that frightens me.
I know I write these in
the partial grip of depression
but it is how I feel, Now.
