A Path so Deep

A path runs along a stream,
calm and soothing.
A tree fallen and rotting.
It is here that you sit staring into the blue sky,

After a while you get up and leave,
Out of the corner of you eye a path seems to begin,
it looks undisturbed,
curious you start down it,
thorns prick you but do not bother you or slow you down,
A cave stops the trail,
it is lit by a strange runes that run along the walls,

You enter the central chamber,
here there is a large crystal green and blue,
It calls out to you,
you walk closer,

It tells you that
"I am your soul,
I run through the earth,
life eternal I give to you."

You walk into the crystal, merging with it,
Later you wake up on the log filled with life and peace.
