Colorblind

Dimension's doorways riddle walls,

consuming color; gained from sight.

Entrancing hole, seduces victims;

inflicting wounds of black and white.

People peering into portals;

dreams of dancing, decompose.

Mournful memories emerging;

repressed trauma now exposed.

Mechanically marching forward;

disregard for their demise.

Placing foot ahead of other,

propaganda leads their eyes.

Patiently the patrons ponder,

where the painting's portal leads.

Mindlessly, stepping through doorways;

providing nutrition, as it feeds.

Pattern's pulsing, portrays pictures.

Sinister situation, slowly shown.

Tirelessly treading their way through.

Welcome to The Twilight Zone.
