It seems impossible our child is no longer here laughing and loving
No more visions of a future our little Jack will never have
Fallen to the wayside all of our grandest plans
A sudden and shocking exit from this world
Now a mother weeps a father drinks far too heavy
The pain of this loss too much to bear
Letting go and moving on not happening
Only 6 months passed
Sincere friends have stopped calling or visting becoming unsure anymore what to say
Silence in a house that was once upon time the most joyous of homes
