Taken away by foolish ICE
Alone in his cell all he can do is sit and remember
Constantly dreaming of the day he can unite with his family again
Over and over trying to understand how his fellow man could be so cruel
So consumed by fear, hate and misunderstanding of all the innocent ones
All his life tried to live by example
Never did him a damn bit of good
Down on the ground handcuffed and in terror they threw him anyway
Man, just a man doing his best
Everyday working hard so his family could eat
Makes no sense why he was singled out
Over others far more dangerous
Reality hits hard as in tears he breaks down knowing he may never see them again
In agony still he waits
Every moment a living Hell as he waits for the hammer to fall
Soul inside him dies a little more
