And So This Is What We Have Become

`All consumed by mere material items

Nothing else quite holds us like this obession

Damned by our own weakness and neverending ravenous hunger for more

Super sized we make it all just to keep in step with our fellow greedy man

One by one we fall victim to the money mad beasts inside us all

Torn apart by greed

Hating each other in jealous fits for some daring to have more than others

It really is a sad commentary on the world when money becomes more valued than respect and kindness

Such a damn shame, a rotten shame and a sin to boot!

I cannot defend what I do not believe in

So if money is your god, please stay far away from me

Wicked begets wicked so be careful how you live your life and for who

Heaven can never be brought even by the richest man

All will face the same judgement at the end of time

There will be none that will be spared that eye to eye encounter with their maker

Wait and you will see

Eternity is not paved with gold coins, but rather with the pure intent of a good man's heart

How can you live in such wanton denial?

A paradise awaits you, but not if you stumble and fall victim to the ulimate devil

Victory will be granted only to those who can withstand the most sinster of temptations

Earn, do not try to buy your way

Break the mold and try something new

Empty your heart of it's material lust

Can you let go of the lie long enough to see the truth?

One minute of your precious time may be all that it takes

Make a lasting and more wholesome change for the better

Eventfully you may even come to be fulfilled by it
