It's Not Just A Job Interview
It's man's good name and career on the line
The truth is not a thing that so easy should be buried under the jealous lies of others
So very scary how many believe an story told without any real proof
No justice for anyone can be solved this way
One man vs something bigger than any of us
The choice to confirm is clear
Just gotta have the courage to take a stand
U and I know just like O.J. was he is innocent
Surely a couple of Dem plants has not changed your mind
The drinking may have been heavy but that was then and this is now
A place on the highest court he has worked hard for and indeed earned
Just mere words alone should not rob him of his life's goal
One mistake made in youth does not reflect the man he is today
Before you're so quick to judge take a look at your own past
In it I'm sure you will find you were't so innocent either
No great harm was done and certainly nothing criminal
The so called assault was either a clever lie or a horrible case of mistaken id
Either way it should have no bearing at all on this good man's future
Regard all the terrible things you have heard as only political sour grapes and nothing more
Victory will come the day the vote comes in as a resounding yes
It's the only true outcome for justice
Earlier mishaps in another day and age have no place here
Why can we not simply let bygones be bygones?
