I think of you in the quiet as the world slowly fades,

I think of you as my life takes on new colors and new shades.

I lay in the darkness in the emptiness of my bed..

dreaming of your kiss and hearing words that you have said.

Its foriegn to me that we have never even ever once embraced,

its stranger even still that I have never touched your face,

I have never once looked deep into those beautiful eyes of yours

through pictures yes but its not enough I yearn for something more

How did you sneak into my heart and plant there all this thought,

How did you crawl into my mind and make me see just what was not

I want to hear those words from you, the ones I will never know,

I want to know you feel this to but I realize you wouldnt though

In silence I will speak to you with words that hide the truth

I will listen and just smile in hopes you will always stay aloof

If this passion inside were manifest you may run away to stay,

so in quiet I will cherish you and hide the words I wish to say.
