Today I finally realized,

from the moment I opened my eyes,

There is something very wrong,

I've been hating myself too long,

What have I done,

I've managed to hurt everyone,

I guess I couldnt see,

the main one hurting... was me,

I feel the time is now,

I must fix this all somehow,

With my best friend here at myside,

Im not afraid, No need to hide,

She's always here, she'll never leave,

She's all I have and all I need,

here in the mirror I realized,

I found my bestfriend in my own eyes,

now to face the battle ahead,

to wipe away the tears Ive shed

somehow it seems so hard to believe,

I've spent so much time hating me.

When I am the only one whos been there,

and I am the only one who will ever care.
