Since the first time we spoke,

A process began,

Seeing your reactions,

Standing firm where others ran,



When questioned I'm frustrating,

But your patience still remained,

Shocking me completely,

You stayed when it rained.



I was ready for the silence,

Prepared to walk alone,

As if falling wasn't bad enough,

Every feeling has been shown,



The door that slams routinely,

Remained where it was,

Every emotion inside ceased,

My thoughts became fuzz,



Thinking was so difficult,

And breathing just the same,

What is going on now?

Why haven't you cursed my name?



Confusion overwhelmed me,

I thought that I had died,

I revealed to you myself,

And you never tried to hide,



Now I'm learning to communicate,

And to open up too,

Every second that I live,

I'm glad I'm sharing it with you.
