one second and all i had forgotten returned in a flood

i met you a few times

through glass your eyes could see me

you didn't know and didn't feel

i thought i lost you to your newness

for seven hours i tried to find you but you were gone

all was red

like my eyes in your head

come back to where we first began

the song in the back of my mind

i'm not so bad, you'll see

it's not so cold, you'll see

take those pills and sleep to make your fears dissolve

what's wrong?

it's only the brightness of the sun glaring at you

you make me happy

when skies are gray
