Unbroken

September 11

You...came and attempted to steal all we live by so our collective souls would be nothing but so much light transposed back to the elements. And while you blindly and maliciously stole the lives of the innocent, you could not remove the light that the living soul...IS. It appears that you derive pleasure from suffering so much, that the lynchpin of your existence lies in the misery you've created for yourselves and others.  All the while, arrogant and self-righteous as you shamelessly accept the blame and claim sanction from a wrathful God against the unjust.  Your crimes against humanity in the name of God will find you out.

We...were born in conflict, created from suffering, forged in battle, steadfast in conviction, and motivated by divine appointment. Are we not One Nation under God and indivisiblle? We were created in the image and from the charter of the One.  We know his will by the good and perfect works we do willingly and on his behalf.  And if we were once broken, we are now Un-Broken, whole, and and like our flag, flying free.  It is with this mantle of righteous armor that we go forth to prepare the way for the Avenging Angels that will come for...You!

Author's Notes/Comments:

The second poem I wrote on the subject of the September 11th tragedy. A bit angrier than the other two.
