Violating My Space

As I lay,

back turned toward the intruder

Wondering;

Why is this stranger

violating my space?

I am speechless,

for fear the sounds

may rise the others

from their chambers

of slumber.

While in my chamber

there is no slumber,

just nightmares of

torture.

Trusting one you know-

to inflict no harm

Hands of a stranger

on a familiar form.

Contemplating;

A silent scream,

so silent...

The mountains tremble

Yet, not a hearing ear

does it penetrate.

My song carries into a wail

But, Still, to no avail.

The turmoil has ended

the fury has subsided

the intruder, reaching his

fantasy; has now departed.

I slumber not;

for pain has enveloped

my person.

My tears flow steadily

streaming down my pale cheeks

The shame grows to immeasurable

proportions.

Guilt!

Should I be riddled of guilt;

of false visions from beyond?

Visions of...

twisted truth,

disintegrated boundaries.

Dust to dust, fire to ash.

I too,

wish to rise from this inferno.

My space no longer violated

I now know to:

live a life so true

release the visions of past

be free:

to have a love that will last.
