DIAMOND EYES

Folder:
"Beauty"

Summer’s night eyes

That blinds my days with a shine

Non-contested by the sun

In a million years, in a million worlds

Another girl like you – there will be none

Born under the sign of beauty and perfection

Giving me a wave of emotions

That drowns me in the shadow of your reflection

And my objection is to grasp every aspect of your appeal

A walk so graceful – I’m caressed by the vibrations of your heel

Even you, yourself,

Is such a vibrant thing

I quietly scream – when in the blessing of your presence

I silently sing – songs of love

You’re a dove without wings

And it seems…

You leave me lost in dreams I can’t get out of

Everything more than gorgeous

With eyes that beams a gleam that blinds my dreams

A walking florist – so precious

I become a tourist when in your presence

Body poetically symmetric – I study each stanza

Lips so slender and nice

Enticing me to want to bite…

Like you were a Georgia peach or Chiquita banana…

Strawberry dipped in caramel…complexion

Just as sweet as the aroma from your chocolate essence

I smell when you are near

Your diamond eyes are the sparkle that lights my path

My ears tingle when it’s your voice I hear

And I rejoice, because your speech is a beautiful art of noise…

But I’m forced to play disappearing acts with my thoughts,

Because I don’t want appear out of line

When I think of you and I engaging in slow walks…

And intimate talks...

Of the both of us swimming free in love’s abyss –

Silently communicating through the gentleness of a soft kiss

Upon Cupid’s borrowed wing I want to soar far with you,

But reality is at my door instead of opportunity,

So excuse me if I’ve gone too far with you,

But my intention was to say,

Your beautiful eyes bring out the star in you.

Tha Prodigal One...
