His Spirit burns so brightly, though he's known some hurt and pain.
Mom learned some hard lessons, but I know it's not too late.
But all was well worth it. Sometimes we know not Fate.

God destined us a Family. With a Love that'd never part.
To always put your needs before my very own.
It's what I had to learn...to be the best Mom to you Son.
To show you what a Mother is, what it is to Love a Son.
To bring a smile to your life, to bring joy that's not undone.
God brought a Smile to my Life, that day that you were born.
I knew that you were special, God brought forth a precious Son.
So watch over him Guardian Angel. Let No Harm come to my Babe.
Shower him with God's presence, please remove all hurt and pain.
No Sacrifice too great for this loved one of my heart.
I would go through anything to give us a fresh start.
Some how I'll make it up to you, what once was lost regained.
I may have left you for a time, but my Love for you remained.
You may not understand it, of why I did depart.
But it was not intentional, and you were never once forgot.
It's been a difficult Journey, but God's Love can heal all pain.
His light shines through the darkness, showing what can be regained.
Giving hope to all the hopeless. Brand new lives to those with Faith.
