In The Still Frame Of The Night

Folder:
Improv 2004

In the still frame of the night

silence moves in the shadows.

Dodging the moonlight,

cowering in the corner,

as to not be heard

by the indifferent ears,

of mortal souls,

lost in midnight's chime.

~

In the still frame of the night,

darkness steals each speck of light.

Each ray of moon that glittered down,

now burrows away... not to be found.

Midnight's cloak has come

and covered the face of day

Hidden behind a blackened cloth

never to come again.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this on 8-27-04. It's my 220th improv. I hadn't written improv in over a year but the people I wrote with online brought the room back so I may be writting more.
