Just Maybe (song)

Verse 1

Life is so complicated,

and love, it's even worse.

I look up to the sky,

with tears in my eyes,

and with rage begin to curse.

Chorus

Just maybe you were right.

Just maybe you really cared.

And maybe just maybe my baby,

all this pain I feel is fair.

Just maybe you loved me.

Just maybe not.

Maybe just maybe I'm livin'

but I'm so numb that I forgot.

Verse 2

I deserve to live without you,

if I deserve to live at all.

But when I start to think,

I get pushed to the brink,

one more push and I will fall.

Chorus

Just maybe you were right.

Just maybe you really cared.

And maybe just maybe my baby,

all this pain I feel is fair.

Just maybe you loved me.

Just maybe not.

Maybe just maybe I'm livin'

but I'm so numb that I forgot.

Bridge

I gave it my all,

but I can't give anymore

Everywhere I turn to,

there's a closed door.

I'm lost and confused,

cryin' in the dark.

And if you could see the scar across my heart,

you'll see you left your mark.

Chorus

Just maybe you were right.

Just maybe you really cared.

And maybe just maybe my baby,

all this pain I feel is fair.

Just maybe you loved me.

Just maybe not.

Maybe just maybe I'm livin'

but I'm so numb that I forgot.
